Shipping is one of the biggest challenges every online store faces. If you’re selling products from an ecommerce store, you need to ship them efficiently and at least cost. So we’re thrilled to announce that Selz now gives your customers real-time carrier rates at the checkout, from all the major carriers including UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, Deutsche Post, Aussie Post and many more.
Calculate Shipping Costs with Real-Time Carrier Rates for your Online Store
You can either connect your existing account to get your specific shipping rates, or you can use the default carrier settings. This gives your customers exact shipping costs and more shipping options when they’re purchasing products from your online store plus it makes your business more competitive with the best shipping prices.
To get started, log in to your Selz Dashboard and click on Settings > Shipping, then click on Real-time Carriers. Make sure you have your exact address set as well as your default parcel size. If your Items vary in weight, you can always update their weight individually when editing or creating your items.
Once you’ve set up your address and parcel sizes you can choose which shipping carrier to use with your online store. If you have your own account with a shipping carrier, make sure to enter your account number after selecting that provider so you get your specific costs. If you don’t have an account, then you can use the provider’s own Default Account (note that not all carriers have Default Accounts in all countries, so search for a carrier that has a Default Account in your country. Once you choose a carrier, all of your products will have more shipping options and real-time shipping prices right on your online store.
