As of Monday 14th March 2016, we’re stepping up the pace and moving to daily payments.

As entrepreneurs ourselves, we understand how important cashflow is.

No more waiting til Friday: Now you’ll get paid every day.

We used to batch payments to you every Friday for sales made in the previous week. This meant that in some cases you might be waiting up to 10 days for the proceeds of a sale.

As of Monday, March 14th, we’re going to pay out every day. Every payout is for sales made seven business days prior.

You don’t need to do anything — we’ll automatically switch you over to daily payments as of March 14th. These changes are for sales paid for using credit cards and for payments made direct to your bank account. They don’t affect sales paid for using PayPal. Learn more about getting paid on Selz.

We’re super excited about this change because helping you to grow your business is what we’re about.

Let us know in the comments below about any other changes you’d like to see from Selz. We’re here to help.

This is VERY unfortunate for us as well, as our bank charges per transaction (when it is from a foreign account). I need an option to have cumulative transactions (one per month would actually be my preference), or else we’ll have to look for other webshop providers. My company is right now preparing for a major release later this spring, so we’ll need this fixed within 2 weeks.

Hey Sebastian, thanks for your comment. We’re happy to move you back to weekly payments if you would prefer. Just shoot us an email to confirm and we can get this sorted for you ASAP. We are hoping to offer customized payout schedules, chosen by the seller, in the future as well.

    Hi Selz team,
That’s VERY unfortunate news on my account!

My company is situated in Denmark, and I pay $4-5 per transfer made to my account from a foreign account.
Up till now I was paying the bank once a week for sales made throughout the week. Which end on an annual expenses of up to $260 (just for receiving the profit made, after other fees have been paid).

If I’m understanding this correctly, it’ll mean I could potentially (if I were to sell 1 item a day, I don’t but if I did) end up on $1825 per year!
I’m selling ebooks, digital art and other similar things, meaning I’d have to sell maybe 5-10 copies a day in order to just make up for the money lost on transfer fees.

I’ll have to give my stuff away, not to loose money… or charge so much that nobody is going to buy it?!

Is there any way to be paid once a month?
    Best regards Emil

Hi Emil, thanks for chiming in! Sorry to hear that daily payments are an inconvenience for you. Right now, daily payments are standard for all Selz accounts; however, we may allow sellers to choose their payout method and time frame in the future. I’ll definitely pass your thoughts onto our product manager for the future :)

Thanks – that’s much appreciated Kristen.

As this change currently forces me to find another alternative to Selz, which I really hate doing and spending time on, but there’s not really any way around it.

        Best regards Emil

Hey Emil, I’m really bummed to hear that you’ll have to leave us for now. I’ve passed your situation onto our product manager… Hopefully we can offer a way for sellers to choose their payout dates. We’ll keep your info on hand and let you know if we’re able to do this.

Hey Emil, I’ve sent you an email directly. Could you jump into your inbox and write me back at that email address? Thanks!

That’s awesome Selz people! It makes a big difference. Waiting to be paid sucks but daily payments is an excellent idea :)

Hi Phillippa, thanks for chiming in! We’re super excited about it, too. It will make everything flow so much better for everyone :)
