We’re all about helping you sell more online by keeping things seamless, simple and beautiful. So we’re super excited to release our new Checkout V2 – our best customer retail experience yet.

Checkout V2 is the result of hundreds of hours of user analysis and feedback. The result is a highly optimized, checkout that looks and feels great. It’s smoother and simpler for your buyer, with a slick, single-point-focus window that keeps your buyers where we want them – on your site.

Don’t be fooled by the design simplicity. Checkout V2 is packed with lots of smarts. For example, if you sell digital products, they will now be made available to your buyers immediately and as part of the purchase transaction.

Checkout V2 means more sales, less abandoned carts, and happier customers.
Here are just some of the things we’ve built into your new checkout experience:

New simplified design
Improved purchase flow with fewer steps
Seamless address changes for more secure payments and delivery details
Intelligent email correction (“Did you mean [email protected]?”) to help prevent typos
Zip code lookup (for the whole world, ahem, we’re pretty proud of that)
Geolocation suggestion to make typing in addresses easier
Simplified download page

Give Checkout V2 a try!
Take a look at your already-listed products to give the checkout a test, or donate to with the widget below. If you have the Store Pro app installed, be sure to update your theme to enable Checkout V2 from the Themes page.

Oh! And will you be integrating with anyone like Printful in the near future to offer print-on-demand gift items like t-shirts?

    1. Kristen

Definitely something we’d like to do in the future!

If I offer videos for sale, do I have to get additional hosting elsewhere to house them on or do you host them?

    Do you offer streaming video?

If I have a package with more than one item (like a PDF and a few videos) can your system deliver them all together as well?

If I offer a free digital product, do you force a customer to input their physical address? I’m trying to find an alternative to Shopify because of this. I understand needing it when a credit card is involved, but I don’t want my customers to have to enter extra personal information if it’s not needed.

    1. Kristen

Nope, we don’t force customers to add their physical address for free digital items. The only time they would add a physical address is when they purchase a product for credit card billing purposes.

this site is only for few countries.also they dont specify what type of products we are allow to sell.once o try to do so in Pakistan they blocked account. They lose revenue there is a lot of small business running here in Pakistan a country of 190 million people 6th largest in world.

    1. Kristen

Hi Adil, thanks for your thoughts. While we’d love to expand to Pakistan, it’s not something we can do at the moment with our resources. I’m sorry to read you feel disappointed.

Hi there. Just added my first digital download products since this update. Is there a slight glitch in the system as although I’m specifying my usual colours for the buy it now button (and the new? checkout button), it still views as the selz purple on my site? Thanks, Lisa

    1. Kristen

Hi Lisa! :) Thanks for checking in. This should be fixed — if it is still appearing incorrectly, could you send us the URL of your website to [email protected]? Thanks :)
