Website not ready for prime time? Check out Do-It-For-Me!

Let’s take a detailed look at how to let your fans buy straight off your blog without having to leave the page.

  1. Log in to your Selz account
  2. Go to Buttons & Widgets from the main menu. This will display the button and widget editor.
  3. Choose your button style, color, and if you want the purchase to be carried out on a separate tab or if you want the buyer to stay on your page.
  4. Then copy  the code for your button
  5. And paste it into the HTML or text tab of your post – here we use WordPress, so we paste it into the ‘Text’ tab.
  6. And voila! A beautiful buy it now button to sell your product right in your post without leaving your ecommerce site!

Hi Phillip! At the moment, there is not a way to embed a buy button into the blog on your Selz store. We see a lot of sellers add in a link to their product that drives your readers right to the product. That is the most popular choice!

It is a great suggestion to allow buttons to embed into the Selz blog itself and we will be sure to pass that along to our engineering team.

Is there a way to embed the buy now button in the blog in selz? I want to have a blog, with a simple way to have people purchase it right in the blog. How do I make that happen?

  3. Melissa

Hey there, yep it sure is. You just need to paste the button or widget code into the HTML or Text tab in your blogger post, and publish it. Blogger can be a little funny with not showing the button or widget in their preview view, but if you publish it you’ll see that the product displays correctly.
