Here are 3 simple options for creating a Blogger online store with Selz:

1. Add Buy Buttons or Product Widgets

One of the simplest ways you can sell from your Blogger page is to embed a button or widget that links directly to your product within a page or blog post.

First, you’ll need to create your product in Selz. Go to Selz and create an account. You’ll be able to start adding products straight away by clicking on ‘Add an Item’. Your items will automatically go into your store, which you can access by clicking on ‘Store’ and ‘Preview” in the left-hand menu. You’ll see all your products sitting on your very own custom URL.

To find your button and widget options, select “Buttons and Widgets” from the left-hand menu. From there you’ll be able to customize the color and look of your buttons before copying the code generated.

2. Embed a Blogger Online Store

Another simple way to add products to your Blogger site is to embed your entire store right onto the platform. With Selz, this is as easy as adding buy buttons and widgets.

First, make sure all of your products are added into your Selz dashboard by using the “Items” option in your menu. Next, navigate to the “Buttons and Widgets” option in your Selz dashboard and find the “Store” option. Here, you will be able to customize the style of your store to match your Blogger brand.

Spend some time customizing the look of your store, then simply copy and paste the HTML code into the HTML editor on Blogger. Easy, right?

3. Navigate to your Online Store

Another effortless way to sell via a Blogger online store is to link to your Selz Store via a navigation link on your Blogger site. Selz has professionally-designed themes and store editor for users who want to create a fully-customized separate online store to direct traffic to.

Once you’ve picked a theme for your Selz store, you can navigate to ‘Store’, and then ‘Editor’ to start customizing the look of your new Blogger online store! Within the new store editor, you can add content blocks to arrange your store how you please, change the colors and fonts to match your branding, and create a stylish, attention-grabbing Blogger online store that will appeal to your fans.

Once you are happy with the design of your store, go back to your Selz dashboard and click back into ‘Buttons and Widgets’. This time, you will select ‘Store Button’. My intention is to give eBooks and other products to capture email addresses. Is Selz the way to do this. Bernie

Hi Bernie! Yes, you can give away ebooks and other digital products through Selz. You receive their email addresses before they can download the product. You can also embed these as an opt-in on an existing blog or website to increase your email list. We integrate with Mailchimp, AWeber and Campaign Monitor.

I am considering selling items online.. I don’t have a website or blog. I do however, have a Facebook account. Is that considered a blog account or must have a separate blog or website. I am not very computer savvy but I know enough to get things done. I just don’t use social media often, including my FB page, so I am a little confused. I do have my home business doing Virtual Customer Service. Selz sounds like it is just what I need for my future online business. I just need to finish gathering the info. Thank you

Hey Angela, thanks for checking in! If you just want to collect funds for your virtual customer service position, you can simply set up a service item listing on Selz and have your clients pay for you that way. It’s not totally necessary for you to have a blog / website, but it does make integrating Selz within your business much easier and more lucrative if you have an already existing audience. If you do use Facebook and have a Facebook business page for your virtual customer service business, you can create a Selz account and add a free Facebook store for your facebook page. This tutorial should help get a Facebook store added to your Facebook business page.

What If I already purchased a domain name is there a way to make my standalone store through selz using the domain name I already purchased?

  4. Jon

What percentage is your fee per sale and what is the flagfall (if any)?
I want to sell an Expert Fact Sheet from my blog (actually I am more likely going to begin a new blog with a theme that reflects more closely my Fact Sheet’s subject).
If I sold the Expert Fact Sheet for AU$2, how much would you charge per sale?
    Thanks for your help.
